Outdoor Meeting: Glapthorn Cow Pastures

Saturday 11 May 2019 From 1000hrs to 1300hrs

This overgrown historic cow pasture (SSSI) has a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Two species are of particular interest Nightingale and Black Hairstreak Butterfly.

We will be too early for the latter but hopefully we may be lucky and hear the former which are becoming a rare sight at this reserve.

Parking is down the lane opposite the reserve entrance at SK005902. Post Code PE8 5BH should get you almost to the entrance.
