Outdoor Meetings

Details of meetings and directions to venues will be given in relevant issues of Fieldfare or by following the links below.

Unless stated, no fees are charged for outdoor meetings, however entry charges to reserves may be payable.

For outdoor events book a place with Jeffery Wilcox-smith, who will give more detailed information where necessary.

Everyone attends field meetings at their own risk.

Please note, because we need to keep a check on numbers and require contact details, especially for outdoor meetings, we are requesting that all members wishing to attend meetings book a place.

Full details can be found within the Events listings.

Indoor Meetings

Indoor Meetings take place between October and April on the first Tuesday of the month between 7.30 – 9.30 pm. We are currently looking for a new location for our meetings as our previous venue no longer opens during the evening.

For indoor meetings book a place with Jeffery Wilcox-smith, who will give more detailed information where necessary.

It is hoped that visitors will make a donation of £2.00.
(There are no indoor meetings in summer.)

All events are as detailed and correct as possible at time of publication, but will be subject to change at short notice, so please check with information on the website.

Meeting Reports

Brief reports of previous meetings are published on this website:

Insurance: The Society’s Public Liability Policy covers all members against damage to third parties and their properties at official meetings only.

Meetings on Zoom

At present indoor meetings are either zoom presentations, in person meetings or both. We are currently looking for a new venue so please refer to each meeting listed below for full details.

As usual there will be no indoor meetings in the months of May, June, July, August and September.

Members will receive a link to indoor zoom meetings via email.

We are following the current Coronavirus guidelines and will continue to do so, this means that although we have published a programme this will be subject to stricter guidelines.

We have also published a Members Awareness Document which we would ask all members to read before attending an event.
