RNHS – CORONAVIRUS

We hope you are all well and managing to have a slightly normal life in these extremely unusual times.

With the constantly changing guidelines on how we should all behave as you might expect the RNHS Committee is looking at what we as a Society should or should not do to protect our members.

As our membership on average is relatively old, we are taking into account the guidelines being given to over 70’s and also the fact that larger gatherings should be avoided.

With this in mind we have taken the decision to cancel our indoor meeting on the 7th April, we are sure you will all agree this is a sensible move. As regards next seasons indoor meetings we will review those later in the year when we see how things progress and on the guidance being given.

Outdoor meetings are a little more difficult to call and at the moment we have decided to continue with them as per the programme. The rational here is that numbers attending are fewer and they are not in an enclosed space so members can to a large extent “isolate” themselves whilst attending. Although we may have to shout at each other a little more.

Further decisions on the outdoor meetings will be taken as more information becomes available and we will issue advices as and when needs be.

Updates will also be posted on the website if meetings are cancelled so please keep checking there.
