Dear Members

In view of the worsening CV19 situation, and the change to the tier allocation this afternoon, we have decided very regretfully that we have to cancel the January walk at Morkery Wood. We are very sad that we shall not be able to meet up yet again. However, we are convinced that in 2021 things will get better. We are continuing to plan presentations and outdoor activities for the coming year, so look out for the 2021 programme, to come with your January edition of Fieldfare.

Whatever happens do keep an eye on the website and your emails. We are trying to keep in touch with you all during these difficult times.

Please do join us for the Zoom Meetings – it is fairly easy if you have not done so before, but if you are concerned then please ring me or any other committee member for help.

Thanks to Linda Clark we have been kept in touch by monthly bulletin, and Peter Scott who sends out emails and looks after the website.

If you know members without internet then please do let them know the latest news on our behalf, and if you feel in need of a chat then do ring me or another committee member, and we’ll be happy to talk to you.

It is important to us that we are all able to keep in touch somehow. We all have a common interest in the future of wildlife in our area, and this can help us all thrive in spite of the horrible situation. Though we can’t meet together we can still enjoy the natural world. Let us look forward to 2021 very hopefully.

May the vaccinators be with us all very soon!!!!!

Happy New

Linda
