DEEPING LAKES VISIT – 22nd Nov

Saturday 22nd November 10.30am. Visit to Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve. 

Part owned by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, this 160-acre wetland SSSI consists of flooded gravel pits and a main lake and is noted for its diverse wildfowl and waterbirds.  Meet: The nearest postcode is PE6 8RJ Grid ref: TF187083. It will take you to a bend on the B1166 and at the apex of the bend is a gravel unmade road with speed bumps. Follow to the designated car park.

FUNGI WALK – 8th Nov

FUNGI WALK
Our fungi walk this year will be on Saturday 8th November at 10.30am at Wakerley woods and led by our Fungi recorder Kate Fortune Jones.
Wakerley is a great place to see everyone’s favorite red spotty mushroom, the “Fly agaric”.  We look forward to seeing you there!
Park and meet: The car park is accessed down a minor road off the A43 towards Wakerley village and the car park is about half a mile further on, on the lft. Grid ref: SP961987. Nearest postcode: NN17 3BA.
